Create your own unique Christmas tree

“I am dreaming of a white Christmas, just like the ones I used to know”

What a wonderful time Christmas is, it fills our heart with infinite love and our pockets with loads of goodies. The merriness is seen everywhere and our entire spirits gather together to celebrate warmth and mutual harmony. But also for most of us, Christmas is in the little things, like Santa Claus, Christmas Carols and the Christmas tree. Decorating a Christmas tree is such a blissful activity. Christmas is not only white now, it is uniquely colorful and so the Christmas tree is as vibrant as ever, with special themes making them all the rage. Themed Christmas trees are going to be loved by your little ones because their favorite tree is going to be adorned by fun stuffs like toys, candies, dolls and angels.

1. Teddy bear theme

Christmas is a merry making time for the kids and the teddy bear theme easily depicts the innocence of this festivity. Bear designs are quite in trend and they are easily obtainable in wood, glass, metal and textile. Your kids are going to be super excited if you put angel bears or even Santa bears on the tree. Cut little wings and coronas and attach them to the bears to make them angelic. Tie up a sequined wreath through the branches and put on white lights on the tree. As for Santa bears, put the teddies in stockings and place them on a red Christmas tree. Stick Santa hats on some of the bears and hang them on the tree.

2. Angel theme

Christmas and angels are like peas on a pod. You cannot think of one without the other. How accurate it would be to decorate a Christmas tree with the cherubs who personify everything sacred. While decorating a Christmas tree, go for subtle colors, pearly white robes and radiant halos. How beautiful the tree would look if accented in white, the color of purity. It would perfectly accentuate the snowy white winter and would look truly magnificent with angel bric-a-bracs. Use soft shades of pink and cream to make it look pleasing for the eyes. Adorn the angel Christmas tree with glass balls colored silver, white lights, pearl beads, harps and everything angelic.

3. Candy theme

This is an extremely cute way of adorning a Christmas tree. It will be cool and your kids will shriek with excitement. What more do they want apart from an amazingly gorgeous as well as delicious Christmas tree. Go to the market and purchase some brightly wrapped Christmas candies, wrap them up and hang them on goodie bags on the tree. You can choose candies in different, exciting shapes like snow men, Santa Claus and nutcrackers and dangle them with the bags. Make it more fun, fasten lollipops, Popsicle sticks, candy canes on the tree and give out to your guests when they visit.

4. Barbie theme

Barbie is a fad these days and of course your little girl’s hot favorite. Hence, make this Christmas a Barbie Christmas by way of the Christmas tree decorated with everything related to the beautiful doll. You don’t need to do this only for your kids; you can have your own Barbie tree too. This will remind of the good old times when your Barbie doll was your best friend in the world. Make use of knick-knacks from your own Barbie collection. Adorn the tree using the color pink and lilac with oodles of shimmer and pops. You can even use feather festoons and lots of Barbie dolls with her little pals, not to forget Ken of course. Do not forget, the more dolls you have, the better it is. These days’ stores even sell artificial Christmas trees which are pink in color. You can go for that or you could just stick to the original green color. But whatever you do, make sure you have lots of Barbie goodies beneath that Christmas tree.

5. Toy theme

This theme is such a wanted theme amongst all. It has to be because Christmas is synonymous with presents and toys. It is that wonderful time of the year when little kiddies jump off their beds to find wonderful little toys in their little red stockings. If you want to make a toy themed tree, horde as many toy curios made of ceramic, glass, stuffed etc. Request your children to help you in this, I am sure they will oblige very willingly. They can gather key chains, little synthetic animals, toy soldiers, Pokemon dolls, Ben Ten dolls etc. and hang them on the tree. Your Christmas tree will look amazing and you can make use of all the toys in your house too.
