Contoured Embryo cabinet hides your audio system artistically

I would never hide my audio system or loudspeakers inside some cabinet and if I ever find the need to do so, the cabinet should better look something like the Embryo. Designed by David Meisenholder, with assistance from Ilan Dei Studio, the Embryo is a gorgeous stereo cabinet that opens up automatically to reveal the inner cavity and your music system, thanks to the integrated motor in the base and the limit switches.  The stunning lines of the Embryo inside and out make it a work of art you would love to place anywhere inside your living space.

The Embryo has been inspired from a Garage Door designed by Santiago Calatrava. David Meisenholder used Rhino to carve the curvaceous design and CNC mill to create it. The users can also opt for the manual mode and activate the Embryo by activating the hidden switch. In auto mode, a sonar range detector identifies the user and a Parallax microprocessor interprets the sonar signals to open the door.
