When you bring your hands close to the sensor, the Camitool folds and cuts the toilet paper automatically. Toilet paper dispensers that electronically roll out the paper are not a new thing, but the idea of automatic toilet paper cutting is sure an innovation. Camitool cuts the toilet paper in three different lengths – 60, 90 and 120 centimeters – in the same way as a pair of scissors. Currently, Camitool electric toilet paper dispenser is being used only at hospitals and in public buildings in Kagawa, where the company runs its operations. While the plastic version costs 60,000 yen ($750), the made-to-order wooden version sells for 95,000 yen ($1,200). Hopefully, we would see Shikoku selling Camitool very soon for the residential spaces.
