According to a new research at the University of Wisconsin, yellow and green vegetables are helpful to protect the eyes. Peas, sweet corn and broccoli do contain the chemical carotenoids that is a powerful biological antioxidant to protect age related macular degeneration (AMD).
The researchers have come out with the conclusion that if women under 75 eat green and yellow vegetables, they will be reduced risk to age related macular degeneration. The detail of the research is published in the online edition of Daily Mail.
