We all love pets, however, if you or your child tends to be asthmatic, than you need to be careful.
A research suggested that people with pets as dogs are more likely to worsen their asthma symptoms leading to raised level of coughing and phlegm as well as bronchial responses to air pollutants in contrast to patients with no pets as dogs.
Dog contains high level of endotoxin in its body brought with it from outside causing increased levels of asthmatic response, especially among children. This Endotoxin– is a part of cell wall of a bacterium found in dirt produces lung inflammation, making asthma worsen. Thus, here is an advice to asthma patients, avoid keeping dogs as pet, better resort to cats.
