Sitting straight is not correct!

Generally it is considered that one should always sit, keeping his back straight. However, a new study by Scottish and Canadian researchers shatters this misperception. These researchers used a new form of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) that divulged the fact that keeping back straight during sitting puts extra strain on our back. This study further states that stilling in 135 degrees backward is the best way of sitting.

Sitting in a wrong way puts extra strain on our back, therefore, one should adopt the method which is most accurate. Putting light on the importance of right sitting posture, Dr. Waseem Bahir of the Department of Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging at the University of Alberta Hospital, Canada said:

Sitting in a sound anatomic position is essential, since the strain put on the spine and its associated ligaments over time can lead to pain, deformity and chronic illness.

Personally, I believe that spinal cord is a very delicate as well as an important part of our body and right sitting posture can help us keep it well. Therefore, all of us should sit in 135 degrees backward, which is the best sitting posture.
