Painkillers get new warning labels in U.S.

This is bad news for Pharma companies making painkiller tablets. Now the acetaminophen, aspirin and ibuprofen have to write about the serious side-effect of it’s on its labels. According to Food and Drug Administration (FDA) acetaminophen can cause serious liver damage, even death.

The drugs like aspirin, ibuprofen can be reason for gastrointestinal bleeding and kidney injury even when patients take the correct dose of these. These drugs are widely available in the market and sold to treat pain, headache and fever.
Earlier many times the FDA has updated the labels on the drugs to warn patients about the intake of these drugs. In the latest proposal of FDA the manufactures of these drugs should have to highlight the ingredients and warnings in the most effective way.
