Night shifts for BPO employees pose early ageing risk

BPO firms usually works in nights. Working youth most often go through sleep-deprivation. This would set them at the risk of early ageing.

According to Dr Lim Li Ling of Singapore General Hospital, too much food at night, no breakfast and taking lunch in the evening are completely irregular eating habits that affect health badly. All of these in combination might put the youth in the risk of early ageing.

BPO employees’ sleep debt may lead to depression too because of the lesser contacts with friends and relatives. This isolation may cause psychological problems as well.

However, BPO employees become envious of others because of getting high salary but according to the experts, they are actually paying a heavy price for ignoring their health issues.
