Health Canada has come out with a statement that Emperor’s Tea Pill (Tian Huang Bu Xin Wan) and Hepatico Extract (Dhu Gan Wan) can be harmful for your health.
The radical reason behind such opinion of Health Canada is that it found that both these unauthorized natural health products are containing high levels of lead and mercury. Experts think that consumption of such that contain heavy metals like lead and mercury may, especially tell upon the health of infants, pregnant women and kids.
Due to lead poisoning, a person can be engulfed by several ailments that may include anemia, pain, blood pressure fluctuations, and abdominal pain. In some cases, the consequences may also lead to brain damage and even to death, while mercury poisoning can tell heavily upon brain and kidneys.
This is in fact a startling revelation that most of us should not connive at.
