Researchers of a State University of New York have concluded that kissing is more important for women than for men. The researchers drew this conclusion after quizzing approximately 1,000 students.
According to the study kissing is not only a way for women to identify a suitable mate, but, also a means to keep up the warmth and intimacy in the relationship in the longer run.
Unfortunately it is not so for a man! To be very honest, I am not really surprised with the findings. Personally, I have seen numerous men who are not really very discerning when it comes to the opposite sex!
Women not only give more emphasis on kissing, they also like it a little differently from the men, who like their kisses to be wet (like the French kiss).
Do you know a kiss is a very complex activity which requires the coordination of at least 20 muscles? Amazing isn’t it? And all this while I thought it was one of the simplest things to do!
Dr Glenn Wilson, a relationship expert at London’s Institute of Psychiatry, said:
Kissing is used by everyone as a bonding and testing mechanism. But the fact is women are more discriminatory than men. Men can just go out and spread their seed, but women have to take more responsibility because of the consequences and so they are likely to want to test more.
Well, ladies don’t feel upset with the findings. This study gives you a great excuse to kiss more, since kissing is not only a way to show affection, but also a great way to test your sexual chemistry!
