Would it be a healthy option to switch over to a rice diet?

I’m a overweight girl in my late teens. Everyone in my school teases me because of my fat and I want to get rid of it as soon as possible and want my health to be back on track. I want to get back to that perfect shape once I used to be in. I’m planning to switch over to rice diet i.e. eating rice for my lunch and supper along with some veggies. Would it help me lose weight? If anyone could please tell me about the calories in rice and it’s nutrition facts, it would be really helpful to plan my diet schedule. Please reply on this soon. Thanks!
