Green tea protects Asian smokers from several diseases

The report says that the high use of green tea protects Asians from cardiovascular and cancer risks. The green tea has anti-oxidant protective effects. It reduces blood clotting, regulates smooth muscle cells.

It prevents the growth of certain tumors, improves gastrointestinal function, and prevents from allergies, diabetes, infections. Science portal EurekAlert has published the report. It says that quitting smoking is the best way to protect from cardiovascular disease and cancer. The study, at the same time, shows that habitual consumption of green tea may lower the risk of these diseases.
