Two fresh outbreaks of foot and mouth disease occurred in China. Seven cows showed symptoms of the disease in Changyang county of Hubei province. Three cows had similar symptoms in Jiaguguan prefecture of Gansu province.
The outbreaks were the sixth and seventh in China this year. Both outbreaks were confirmed as Asian type I foot and mouth disease. Some of the cows, pigs and sheep were chosen in Hubei under observation. Chinese health officials have said that situation is under control.
