Facial Expression; Inherited?

Do you know our facial expressions are inherited? This is not a jest but a reality that a new research has revealed.

Gili Peleg and few of his colleagues from The University of Haifa, Israel, analyzed facial expressions of 21 volunteers who were born blind. They concluded that the volunteers had facial expressions similar to their relatives .

Researchers analyzed their facial expression when they were sad, happy or were sitting reminiscently.

Revealing his report Gili Peleg avers:

We have found that facial expressions are typical to families – a kind of facial expression ‘signature’.

Now the next mission of these researchers is to find out the exact gene that controls these expressions. I hope this research will lead researchers to some strange findings about human genes, which will surely prove helpful for mankind.
