Now common cold virus would be the new weapon in the arsenal of researchers to fight deadly cancer. Yea, you got it right; it is common cold virus. The good thing about this newly emerged concept is that researchers are also taking it quite enthusiastically as they are quite sanguine about this new research work. The words of Prof Seymour well expose the enthusiasm of these researchers as he avers:
In principle, you’ve got something which could be many times more effective than regular chemotherapy.
This whole study is based on the idea that cancer cells suppress the body’s local immune system and if cancer could be trammeled from doing so then body’s immune system may easily expunge it.
I strongly believe that if the belief given vent to by Prof Seymour comes out true then it would surely revolutionize the way cancer patients are treated.
