Here is bad news for those who go for chemotherapy because a new study by Japanese researchers have exposed a shocking fact that chemotherapy results in temporary brain shrinkage, especially of the part which controls our memory, concentration, etc.
However, previous studies have also revealed that chemotherapy leaves patients with mild cognitive impairment but this new shocking revelation is surely going to taste bitter for most of the patients going for chemotherapy. Researchers are now trying to find out some medicines that may reduce the side effects of chemotherapy, which I think, is a good move by the doctors.
