Calories in a pear very high or low?

I have heard that fruits are very healthy. And especially it is very good for people on  a diet. I too have started dieting recently. And my daily diet mostly consists of fruits. But is calorie content of all the fruits low. Is it necessary? Can someone tell me about calories in a pear? Because it is anew seasonal fruit and I want to incorporate it into my diet. So, that I can maintain the balance amount of calories in my diet.
