Cloning healthy babies may be possible. Why not, if sheep may be, wonders a scientist who was a part of the team, which successfully cloned first sheep, ‘Dolly’. Julia Millington was the member of the team, ProLife Alliance that made possible the birth of ‘Dolly’.
She says that it may be doable to clone babies free of disease. A simple process in cloning that removes stem cells and then eliminates the genetic error from the embryo. If the flawed cells take away, the healthy embryo reproduces and may create a healthy one. It will be free of any leeway of disease. She says further that there is nothing immoral about the use of these methods to prevent disease and suffering.
