Redefining the notion of top loader washing machines, Rafael Berloffa brings a new washer concept, taking them to a new elevation. The washing machines are developed using nearly the same technology as in top load machines, the only difference lies in the opening mechanism. It eliminates the need of the top cover and has an inclinable door that makes adding and removing the clothes easier. The user easily reaches the bottom of the drum without bending and making much effort. The transparent lid is kept fixed to see the clothes while washing, giving it the top load appearance. This cover can be removed to clean the machine inside. No doubt it has won first place in 2010 Wash Machine Design contest.
