Locus Clock tells time with decorative light effect

locus clock3

HomeQn has shown you some of the best clocks that have changed the concept of seeing time. We have yet another clock that changes the time-seeing concept, and says goodbye to the hand theory. Designed by Stephen Mok, “Locus” takes the clock to a new elevation. It basically uses a hyperbola as the hour and minute orbit. Two motion wheels are attached to the hyperbolic case and controlled by magnetic mechanism. With the swing along its locus, the time is showed by corresponding coordinate. Apart from telling time, the automatic lighting of the hyperbolic locus and indexes in dark environment makes a decorative light piece. In all it’s a clock, a wall lamp and an art piece to adorn your walls.
