It is not that I am downgrading the design, which of course is super nice. It looks scary because it has a very bony in appearance, not that it is made of bones, it is made of washed oak and burr elm. And, somehow I can imagine an old man, as frail as this chair sitting on it in isolation, not wanting to talk to anyone. It is designed by John Makepeace and is also one of the finalist in 2010 Prince Philip Designers Prize. And, I cannot take away the credit for such fine design and craftsmanship. Every detail is so neat and clean, every curve has been cared out to perfection. It looks quite calm in its existence. I really don’t know if it world fit into the living room, but yes, the patio, it will surely complement the surroundings.
