Waste disposal has never been so easy and fun, but designer Jongchul Kim makes it a complete fun with Iris Diaphram Rubbish Can. Shaped like the iris of an eye, this bin detects the size of the litter and dilates accordingly. Thanks to its ultrasound sensor which helps to open or close the iris within a fraction of a second, and also detects the rubbish size according to the descending rubbish relative distance. The big size rubbish opens the iris fully, and with the small one, it minimizes the time iris is opened and also minimizes the risks associated with germs and bad odor breaking out. In case there is no electricity, the iris can be opened manually. The internal infrared sensor checks the volume of rubbish inside so that it can be emptied timely. This sensor also serves as a moody lighting.
