The Dwelling
The simple yet gorgeous house designed by 100 Planos Arquitectura belongs to Jorge Gudes. The house is well planned by ASL&Associados, and is located in Vila Pouca de Aguiar, Portugal. The house was started by the couple in 2004 with the aim of constructing it within minimal cost. Within a cost budget of 100,000 the house stands beautifully ideal on the valley.
What’s unique
Worth mentioning is the breathtaking view of the house where hides the wealth of the house. Located on the top of a hill, the house appears as a large picture window covering the landscape. The materials used for construction is selected adhering to highest environmental standards.
Interiors
The house comprises well-planned interiors that come with nearly all the basic amenities. The rooms are enhanced with the outdoor landscape, and each room opens to enjoy the beautiful landscape. Few area of the house like bathroom, laundry and kitchen are blessed with small orange courtyard as they are not faced towards the valley. This gives these rooms direct sunlight without creating imbalances in the elevations.
Exteriors
The house is planned in the shape of alphabet ‘Y’. The intersection of the design leads to the entry as well as distributes the room, separating public space from the private.
