The secret of a glowing skin is very simple. The more you detoxify your skin, the more beautiful it will become. You are never safe from harmful chemicals, cosmetics, dust, smoke etc. All of them are damaging your skin. Most of these impurities push inside the skin pores.   1. Drink enough water:

    Drink enough waterDrinking lots of water is the best way to detoxify your skin. Drink 8 to 9 glasses of water every day to keep your body soft and hydrated. Drinking enough water will also reduce wrinkled on your skin. It is believed to remove toxins from body and skin. Water speeds up the digestive system also which also helps in skin detoxification. The major benefit of drinking enough water is to keep your skin smooth and young.

  2. Do Sweating:

    This is the best and the most natural way to detoxify your skin and body. Exercise everyday for at least one hour. This makes the heart beat at a faster rate and cause the skin to produce sweat. This sweat removes toxins from body and takes out all the impurities from the skin. Repeat your favourite exercise for at least 5 days in a week or do yoga or a heat spa for naturally increasing the heart beat. You may also indulge in variety of exercises like walking, running, swimming and cycling. All these activities will promote a beautiful skin.

  3. Exfoliate the skin:

    The most important condition to get a beautiful skin is to eat healthy and fresh foods. Avoid junk food as much as you can. Cut down the intake of animal fat, dairy products, white bread, fast foods and sugar. You should rather eat a lot of whole bread, brown rice, fish, vegetables and fresh fruits. The best way is to consult a dietician and ask him about the menu chart.

  5. Use a detoxifying clay mask:

    Take a detoxifying bath for twice or thrice a week. Involve yourself in such bath for at least 25 minutes. This will take out the skin pollutants from the pores of the skin and make you feel more comfortable. Using home remedies like Apple cider vinegar and Epsom salt is best for this purpose. Mix one cup each of unfiltered apple cider vinegar with Epsom salt. Soak your body in this solution for 25 minutes. Or one cup of baking soda with 2 cups of Epsom salt can also be mixed in warm water. Take bath and this will remove the impurities from the pores to make you feel light.

  7. Massage with a dry brush:

    Massage with a dry brushIt is an excellent technique to detoxify your skin. Do it before taking bath. This will trigger the lymphatic system of your body and increases its circulation to detoxify the skin. Massaging the skin using a dry brush also improves the skin in many ways. This sloughs away the dead cells of skin and brings out new cells, removes cellulite, reduces puffiness; tone up the muscles and even out the skin.Do it regularly before taking showers in circular motions. Start from your feet soles, legs, hands, arms, buttocks, back and then the stomach area. Brush over the buttocks, back and stomach area in anti- clockwise direction. Then rub the whole body using detoxifying oil like that of sesame. Allow it to stay for 5 minutes and take the shower thereafter.

  8. Use a detoxifying skin cleanser:

    Using a homemade skin detox cleanser over normal cleanser is much better. This is more effective in exfoliating and detoxifying your skin. Don’t go for such cleansers which are made up of soaps, foams and coarse scrubs. Use such cleansers which have balanced pH, are natural and chemical free. After using the detox cleanser, use a wash cloth to clean the facial and skin areas. The take a shower or bath.

  9. Protect the skin:

    Use moisturisersProtect your skin from the free radicals as they could trigger down the detoxification of skin cells and keep the skin fresh and clean. Use moisturisers according to your skin and if you are going out in sun, don’t forget to use an SPF 15 moisturiser. This will protect your body from harmful rays of the sun. It is advised by dermatologists to use chelator rich serums under moisturiser. It is an important ingredient for detoxifying the impurities built up in your skin. This prevents the further damage of the skin.

  10. Eat enough vegetables and fruits:

    Fruits and vegetables are not just essential for the body but are also important to boost up your skin tone. Fruits and vegetables can keep the skin youthful and tender. For detoxifying your skin, you need to take such fruits and vegetables which as rich in alkaline materials like calcium, potassium and magnesium. Some of the foods containing alkaline minerals are broccoli, kale, pears, spinach, bananas, watermelon etc.
