Red-Yolk Duck Eggs banned in Chinese market

If you are in china then you may have to go without red-yolk salted eggs because Chinese government has imposed ban on the selling of red-yolk eggs claiming that farmers in Hebei province are adding a ‘red drug’, a cancer-causing chemical called carcinogen, to the duck feed to make the yolks redder that may prove harmful for the people.

Actually, red-yolk eggs are believed to be healthier that is the reason why they cost higher. And to gain maximum benefits farmers are using this tactic.

I think this unethical practice should be curbed with strict punishment, because it is just like playing with the lives of thousands of people.
