pollution in china 64
Country that was no. 1 so far from population point of view is likely to see a whopping decline in its population as a report revealed by Xinhua news agency states that factors like pollution, stress, smoking and multiple abortions are all leading to a rise in infertility cases in China.

In the words of Wang Yifei of Shanghai’s Jiaotong University:

Sperm counts had fallen noticeable since the 1970s.

Here it is worth mentioning that a study conducted earlier, had also come out stating “Testosterone Level Receding in Chinese Men!” Moreover, this fact can also not be denied that this is not for the first time when reports have come out showing that pollution is playing havoc with the lives of Chinese people as studies conducted earlier have also undraped several negative impacts, befalling on Chinese people that are unfortunately flocking with so-called “economic boom”. On the basis of these studies, it won’t be wrong to say that at present, china is going through a tough phase, especially as far as health matters are concerned. Somewhere, it seems that pollution is no doubt playing quite a drastic role in exacerbating health of the Chinese people but keeping blind eye to other factors like stress, obesity, etc. will also not be correct. As health factors like stress, obesity, are also posing a serious threat to the lives of thousands of Chinese people by increasing suceptibility of the Chinese people to several mental as well as psychological problems. Following studies back up such claims:

There is none denying that both stress and obesity affects fertility as well as sexual health drastically, as several studies have proved this. Therefore, it can be said that in order to stop this increasing infertility rate among Chinese people, this is not only spiraling pollution level that will have to be checked but several other factors that leads to health problems like stress, obesity, etc. will also have to be bridled.
