Pesticide residues found in fruits and vegetables!

On one hand people are opting for fruits and vegetables to get nutritious diet with low calorie content whereas, on the other hand pesticides in fruits and vegetables making it unsafe for health. So, one need to be attentive while preparing meal using fruits and vegetables.

The Pesticide Residues Committee of UK outlines the level of pesticides in exotic food which surpasses the legal limits. Items contains residues included fruits and vegetables cereal products, olive oil and fruit juices, whereas no residue found in chicken, eggs, infant foods and milk.

It must be noted that the findings is not meant for health concerns, as health benefits supersede any concern about pesticide residues.

You need not to forbid the use of fruits, vegetables, cereals, juices etc. as they are health- building items.

Make better use of fruits and vegetables and other items by washing properly two-three times with pure water in order to remove the lower levels of residues before consuming which may not harm health.

Further, you need to be watchful when you go for buying these from supermarket.
