Lower Your Risk of Pancreatic Cancer With Broccoli, Spinach

Here is a tip to make you change your diet-chart of healthy food. Add on to it beans and green vegetables with high in folic acid — such as broccoli and spinach. Debunking the concept that vitamin supplements help prevent diseases like cancers too, a Swedish study claims that beans and green vegetables lower risk of developing pancreatic cancer by 75 percent.

Eat foods containing 350 micrograms of folic acid per day, and lower the risk of developing this painful cancer. This study has been published in the Journal of the
National Cancer Institute.

“Those who ate the most folic acid ran the lowest risk,” researcher Susanna Larsson, a nutritional epidemiologist at Sweden’s Karolinska Institute who led the study, told AFP.
