Important tips to burn fat and eat healthy

How many times have you tried to loose weight, but failed in your endeavour. It is not very difficult to loose weight. In fact, you only have to take care that you eat fewer calories than you burn each day. The equation is very simple – if you consume more calories than you burn, you will gain weight. Avoid fad diets and consume balanced diet in every meal.


Include correct kind of fat in your diet 

It is not necessary to exclude fats totally from your diet. What is important is to include healthy fats, such as monounsaturated and poly-unsaturated fats, and avoid saturated trans fats. You should eat nuts, avocadoes and salmons in small quantities.


Eat lots of fruits and vegetables 

High fibre foods take longer to digest and keep you full for a longer time. Include fruits across the rainbow such as apples, oranges, strawberries, and plums. Also, eat lots of fresh vegetables in the form of leafy salads. Eat raw or steamed vegetables. You can add some nuts, herbs and spices to make your salad tasty, but do not overdo it. Eat beans and whole grains. High fibre cereals such as oatmeal, brown rice, multigrain bread, are good in increasing the fibre content of food. Instead of taking fruit juice, take whole fruit. It will make you feel fuller.


Eat all natural food 

You must cut down on processed food, which is full of calories and harmful salt. Eat all natural food, which is full of nutrients, and will keep you full for longer duration.


Drink lots of water 

Water plays an important role in weight control. It helps in flushing out wastes from your body, and keeps your metabolism charged. It makes you feel fuller. Avoid taking soda and aerated drinks. Drink water whenever feeling thirsty.


Eat more frequently 

Instead of having three big meals a day, it is more helpful if you take 6 small meals. It keeps your metabolic rate high. However, the important point is small meals do not include high calorie junk food. Snacking throughout the day on chips or other high calorie food will make you consume more calories. Instead, snack on nuts, fruits or salad.


Exercise regularly 

Exercise regularly. Increasing your muscle mass increases your metabolic rate and will help you in loosing weight faster. Try to get eight hours of quality sleep at night. Eat home cooked food, as it will contain less calories, and healthy ingredients. Chew your food properly and pay attention to what you are eating.
