This is said after a new study of its possible consequences is made. And there will no spare to global economy. The economic losses could run to $4.4 trillion. This amount is equivalent to wiping out the Japanese economy’s annual output.

The scenario may also lead to large-scale collapse of Asian economic activity that causes global trade flows to dry up, and money flows out to safe havens in North America and Europe. China could witness death to 28 million and India, 24 million.
