Could someone advise of nutrition diet for a teenager?

I am in my late teens and am on a look out of healthy measures to lose weight. I have read an excerpt from an article in a fitness magazine couple of days ago, which said that healthy eating habits contribute to a healthy body. I completely agree as I have observed that such healthy eating habits have prolonged effect. I want to know about a nutrition diet, as I want to start a healthy lifestyle at a quite young age. Thereby, please suggest accordingly. Thanks.
