The third most visited tourist area of Sydney’s CBD – the Chinatown will soon transform the traditional pagoda into a tourism information kiosk to supply the visitors with essential information about the area. Just recently, the city council confirmed the green proposal regarding the utilization of recyclable material, energy efficient LED lights, and patterned screen slides in erecting the kiosk. The kiosk will be perfectly accessible from Darling Harbor, the Chinese Gardens, Sydney Entertainment Center, the Capitol Theater and the southern half of the CBD.

The city council has already installed two kiosks in George Street near Town Hall and on the corner of Pitt and Alfred Streets at Circular Quay. The work on the third one i.e. the Chinatown kiosk is expected to begin in the later half of 2010 hopefully.
