There are many things in the house, which can be harmful for your babies. Before you get your baby in the house, you should make sure that there are no hazards in the house. Choking hazards

To keep your baby from choking while he is sleeping, put all his toys and pillows out of crib when he sleeps. Make him sleep on his back. Poison Safety

It is essential to keep poisonous materials out of your baby’s reach. Read all the labels on the ‘under the sink’ entire product and learn which ones are poisonous. Keep them up high or put locks or stoppers on the cupboards to keep your tot away. Get the fireplace, heaters, stoves checked once in a year. This will make sure that your house does not have high level of poisonous gasses, which can be harmful for your baby.

Water safety

Storing large buckets upside down is a great idea to keep your tot form exploring it. Use a lock on the toilet lid. Keeping it unlocked can be dangerous for your baby as while walking, baby could fall in it and drown. It is good to keep the temperature of the water heater set at 120 degree Fahrenheit, as baby’s skin is thin and soft. Excess hot water can be scalding for your baby’s skin. Baby’s bath water must not be more than 100 degrees Fahrenheit. It is necessary to be around your baby in the bathroom. There are many products in the bathroom that can be dangerous for your tot, so do not leave him unattended in the bath.
