How to make haunted forest cupcakes

Halloween is the perfect time to indulge and create your own creations. Haunted forest cupcake recipe is a great activity for the kids and you can encourage them to help you. It is going to be one of the best treat for this year celebration and next too.

2. ½ cup of chocolate icing

3. 1 full cup of melt chocolate

4. ¼ cup of white decorator icing

5. a wide circular shaped decorator tip

6. bags of 2 pastries

7. 36 small chocolate chips

8. Six number of toothpicks

Instructions

1. Draw a 5 inch tree on a piece of blank paper similarly like a haunted picture or you can also take a print. Keep the design under a large piece of parchment or wax paper as this will make it transparent and clear to see.

2. Melt the chocolate according to the guidelines shown on the package.

3. As the chocolate melts, pour the melted chocolate in a plastic or a pastry bag after cutting the tip of the pastry bag or a small corner of the plastic bag.

4. You have to hold the cutting edge of the bag while putting it down towards the tree pattern and press the bag slowly to fill the tree fully in chocolate. Ignore if you see see any lines along the pattern because this will help to form a haunted tree image.

5. Gently put a toothpick into the chocolate while it is soft and it should be done on the tree base. After the chocolate turns hard, the toothpick will support the tree while the cupcake. You can also put more chocolate to cover the toothpick for an additional support.

6. Add small chocolate chips on the middle path up to the trunk of each tree which will look as eyes and a mouth.

7. For each cake make 6 trees and keep them aside for cooling and hardening.

8. With the help of chocolate icing frost the cupcakes, next create a ghost figure with the white decorator icing.

9. Create a tip with a big circular decorator pointed tip on the pastry bag. Put the white icing in the pastry bag till it is filled, keep on pressurizing to press out the icing on top of the cupcake and raise your hand to pull the bag while leaving behind a small mound of white icing to the make the ghost figures later.

10. Give each ghost 2 eyes and 1 mouth with the small chocolate chips.

11. After the tress turn cool and hard remove them slowly from the wax paper. During the process if one or two branches are lost then don’t worry as this will create the haunted look of the tree.

12. Pop in toothpick at the base of the tree through the top of the cupcake and till the back of the ghost.

13.To create a haunted forest you can make a single line of cupcakes.
