Fun fall cooking for toddlers

While we switch from a comforting summer into the cold winter months and the onset of the night becomes distinctly earlier, we experience a great temperate season called autumn or fall. It marks the primary harvest and constitutes of fruits and vegetables. It is also associated with Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Halloween and the influx of the holiday season. Fall is a season of fun for kids. Food items that are generally coupled with fall are Pumpkins and Apples. While apples are used to make a seasonal infusion called Apple Cider, Pumpkins are used as an essential part of Thanksgiving, Halloween and some serious fun fall cooking for kids. Fall is a grand time to have your children do some cookery and catering for themselves.

Kids love to visit the pumpkin harvest patch to select their favorite one for Halloween’s Jack-O-Lantern. They cannot have fun without you. You must help them select a medium sized sugary pumpkin. A good pumpkin for these activities weighs about 4 pounds. Do not forget to tell them about the significance of pumpkin vines and the festivities. Help your kids learn the art of cleaning the shell and cook the pumpkin. Here are some fun fall recipes for you and your kids:
