Halloween can be a lot of fun if you can paint your face before you go to the party. The gruesome faces around will accentuate the theme and give everyone the feel of the eerie Halloween. Starting from seven year olds, this fun can extend to any age group. There are different get ups that you can adopt to haunt the Halloween party. The following suggestions will give you some brief idea.
1. Green faced witch
This look is basically about a witch with a ghastly green face. Apply the green color with the help of a sponge and this will serve as the base. Then take black paint or a kohl pencil to make black fearsome lines across the face. You can highlight those lines using a white pencil or paint as well. A black painted tooth will add to the frightening get up of the witch. Make rings around the eyes with black lines and paint the lips black. The eyebrows can also be emphasized using black paint or kajal. An old worn out hat will make a fine accessory along with a broom made of straws.
2. Good fairy
The costume should be in the shades of lavender, white and pink. This will lend an enchanting effect to the whole attire. These colors and shades can be used to paint the area around her eyes. Make up brushes or paining brushes can be used in this regard. Take a pink pencil and start with painting the area above her eyes and extend it up to temples. Use a pad applicator to paint cheeks and temper a tone of lavender. Make wave like lines using a light blue pencil around cheeks. You can also use a white pencil to make white dots between the blue lines. Use multi-colored sparkle to add bling to the whole face. A jewel studded crown and a wand, a net skirt with a ribbon attached and gossamer wings will complete her attire with perfection.
3. Lioness
One of you can get yourself painted as a ferocious yet friendly lion. Use a sponge to apply a yellow paint on the face, serving as the base makeup. Use a pad applicator to draw white eyes for the lion and use a paint brush to make black lines around the eyes. Paint nose completely black and use white paint for her muzzle. The hair under mouth can also be painted white with hints of orange. Outline the chin hair and muzzle with black using a paint brush. Use a red makeup stick to paint her brows and whiskers. Use black to make small dots on her muzzle. Finally place a head band on her which has golden ears attached to it.
4. Scarecrow
This will make a very interesting Halloween guest. Use yellow as the makeup base. Use black paint to sew up mouth and highlight the lines using white paint. You can apply this using a paint brush or a black pencil. Use the same combination to make patches on her forehead and cheeks. You can also make this pattern around eyes. A hat filled with straw along with a flannel shirt with straw jutting out of it will complete the look.
5. Maurading pirate
Just a few strokes with black paint and you can be transformed into an outlaw sailor. The goatee, the overnight stubble and the bushy eyebrows can be made using black paint or just a black pencil. Use black eyes shadow or just paint and make shadows under the eyes using your fingers. Blend this color well. Use a makeup applicator and draw the mustache.
6. Mummy
Wrap yourself with white bandage from head to toe to create the ghoulish image of a mummy. Use white strips to put them in across pattern across the face. Make the wrappings dirty since mummies are supposed to be very old. You can use paint brushes to get this effect. You can draw teeth on the upper lip of the child which will show even when the child keeps his mouth closed. A dirty wrap around the head of the child will finish the costume.
7. Clown
You can have a very bright costume and a lively face of a clown. This won’t need you to apply any base paint. Eyes are magnified by applying using white paint with a sponge. Outline the area using a makeup stick or use black paint with a paint brush. Use green paint or highlighter to make lines. Take red paint and use a pad applicator to make a big mouth with black outline. Make white dimples on either side of the mouth and border it with black. A big bow tie, a hat with polka dots on it and a huge green wig will complete the fun look.
8. Super hero
Make a green mask around the eyes using green paint. Border the mask with a black liner or apply paint with a brush. Make the eyebrows more prominent using a small pad applicator. You can also add a cape to shoulders to add perfection to the look.
