After leaving a great mark in Toronto Interior Design Show 2008, Backseat is gearing up to hit the market again, but this time with little changes. Released under Fishbol, the Backseat will very soon be relaunched in 2011. The chair with the bookcase has already earned applauses for its elegant design with much more functionality than a chair can bestow. The simple chair encases a bookcase in its playful curves, and is made with Canadian birch plywood with a felt cushion in customizable colors. I wonder what next this chair will be updated with, for now we can just wait to see the chair in new look.
