The shock value of this print campaign for amnesty international can not be described as a penetrating one. However, it does manage to enter our minds. It questioningly and accusingly stares us in a somewhat meandering way.
Developed by TBWAParis, the campaign consists of three print ads, which feature incidents of human abuse like domestic violence, forced expulsion and police brutality that are taking place in a âfashionably wayâ. The ads show these incidents in a ramp, where the audience watch them like a fashion show.
As mentioned in the beginning, the campaign conveys the message not mainly through the shock value but through clever communication.
