Bikini-clad women are used not only for selling bikinis but to sell everything from soap to beers. Here is a different kind of news about a protest by bikini-clad women against the banning of an ad campaign.
Dozens of bikini-clad women protested against New York City’s public transit headquarters to protest the transport authorityâs recent decision to ban a Georgi Vodka ad campaign, which features models donning sexy swimsuits. The ads which appeared on buses banned by The Metropolitan Transit Authority(MTA) from appearing in certain neighborhoods in Brooklyn that are primarily populated by Hasidic Jewish communities.
Georgi Vodka spokesperson Todd Shapiro says- We had about 50 girls pointing their backsides at the MTA as part of the protestâ¦
Oh, really?
Well, Geogi vodka seems to have a special liking for women backyards in its advertising. In 2006, a similar âGeorgi Buttâ advertisement, showcased a womanâs backside in a string bikini, sowing controversy.
Old habits die hard.
