Step into a successful career, unlimited growth, best salary and additional benefits- if you scan through the âwanted adsâ, you can find that all of them are filled with such hyperbolic adjectives. Almost all the companies claim that they are the best. They say that they give the best salary, even when they are going to give you peanuts.
I stumble upon a piece of ad (at here) which is, indeed, worth our attention. Letâs go back to a century back. This is also a wanted ad which was appeared around 1900, by renowned polar explorer Sir Ernest Shackleton. But, there are no lucrative offers packed in this ad.
“Men Wanted for Hazardous Journey. Small wages, bitter cold, long months of complete darkness, constant danger, safe return doubtful. Honor and recognition in case of success.”
Filled with full of sincerity. Recruiters, will you tell the truth?
