Talent, or good marketing?

Making a notable achievement is not enough. You have to say it aloud. You have to market yourself. That is the message prop&Mark communicates through this print campaign using notable persons in the history.

Indeed, we are not sure about several chapters in the pages of the great book of history. Sometimes we praise the wrong person and blame the right person. (however, I belong to the small group who believe that the truth will come out one day).

The campaign says that both Alfred Wallace and Charles Darwin have elaborated the theory of evolution independently. But, all the fame goes to Darwin. It compares Antonio Meucci with Alexander Grahambell. And it also compares vincent pinzol with Pedro Alwares Cabral.

The campaign indeed conveys the message clearly. But, they could have used some other examples instead of dragging these notable personalities from their sleep. I don’t believe that Darvin, Wallace or Pedro Alwares Cabral have ever visited an advertising agency for their publicity means.
