SJ National Rail: Ride it to save time

This is an interesting ambient campaign for SJ National Rail, which was aimed at drivers. When driving the approximate time is 5 hours. After a 3 hour drive, which the train takes, drivers get the message that you would have already arrived by now. Road signs were placed with flower plantations, showing the city crest. SJ has certainly chosen a perfect way to communicate its message which would certainly compel people to think in logical terms.

The advertisement was placed very strategically to grab the attention of drivers. However, this kind of advertisement usually goes unnoticed to a large extent but once the attention is diverted the driver would be compelled to think in this regard. The idea behind the advertisement was certainly brilliant. However, if execution would have been equally good it could have stronger presentation. The ad was developed by King, Stockholm, Sweden.
