This video, as part of the advertising initiatives against whaling, features model Alice Dellal and shows the sad and scary side of this issue. The initiative is developed by Whale and Dolphin Conservation Society.
Though the ban on whaling has been in place for 24 years, the International Whaling Commission (IWC) will begin the process of voting on whether to lift the ban and potentially open the floodgates to whaling across the globe once again. So, the film, viewing an alarming situation, urges people to directly protest against whaling.
The e-protest will be sent directly to the most high profile supporters in favour of the plan to lift the ban, which include Barack Obama and the Prime Minister of New Zealand.
