Are customized ads irritating you? When you are online, you know that your privacy is not guaranteed as you think. With the help of cookies, brands are collecting data about your online behaviour. Your online behaviour is evaluated from the sites and pages you visit frequently and brands send you customized ads as per your tastes. This is known as behavioural advertising. but a new survey finds out that people of America do not like this kind of infiltration into their personal sphere.
The survey, organized by professors at the University of California at Berkeley and the University of Pennsylvania, reveals that 66 percent of the respondents does not want marketers to tailor advertisements to their interests. The survey was based on data collectyed from 1,000 adult Americans
