The advertisement aims at showing how vulnerable children are to the violence and oppression inflicted on them. The message is clear that these abuses virtually leave children in stress and mental problems. The ad has smartly defined the thin line between the happiness and cruelty on children.

The advertisement was created on the behalf of a Dutch organization, De Vrolijkheid (merriment) in public interest. This organization helps these children to release their mental agony and stress by dancing, music and painting.
