Quite expectedly, this print campaign for Red ballon too banks on word play. The campaign consists of ads that are designed with âbumpyâ words that get âharderâ and âharderâ.
Looking back to the previous learn English ad efforts, we have seen how phrases where literally depicted, we have seen how kids should learn bad words and we have seen the English fun bus. All of them seem to be interested in word play.
In this campaign developed by Ogilvy & Mather, São Paulo, the advertisers try to âshowâ us that how it gets harder and harder for kids when they start to study past-perfect, phrasal-verbs, and passive-voice.
The campaign is direct in its creative approach, and it does not flaunt much creative muscle.
