Sony Balls (by Fallon) is the best commercial of 2005 according to Campaign, the Trade Magazine for Advertising. Bravia LCD Television is a high definition flat screen LCD television from the Japanese giant. The advert shows (of 2 and 1/2 minute) thousands of colored balls bouncing down the streets of San Francisco.
Oops I missed to mention this one in my earlier post.
Sony won hands down. It’s a stunning ad, must say. The idea is damn cool. Guaranteed unaided recall. Perfect brand name and product category blend. No wonder Brandrepublic calls it ‘one of the simplest and most beautiful ads of the year’.
Only negative about the ad is it’s a bit long.
