
We have seen many innovative business cards. (Remember that edible business card?) Now, here is a silly unique example of a business card invention for an advertising agency.
Gitam BBDO, while shifting their office, wanted to create a different business card with a view to impress their clientele more. So, they made âbusiness bagsâ , that is business cards with spices within it. (They call it spicy business cards, but it is not exactly like that)
They filled the cards with different âspicesâ (sorry, let me use the word for the time being) for each departments of the agency. A sugar bag for the sweet account department (my god, sweet account department. Where the hell you can find out such a department?), pepper bag for the spicy and sharp strategy department, chilly bag for the extra hot creative department (how hot?), a salt bag for the senior management, which is the salt of the earth(ha ha ha).
Though it gives the agency some publicity, the basic uses of business cards are neglected in the altar of sensless humour. Suppose I am the client. If I get the sugar bag, I will taste it after having a good meal and dump the cover in the waste basket. If it is salt bag, I can use it while I am having my lunch. If it is pepper I may use it while I am fearing the possible attack of fever, as an unscientific way of counter-attack- I will mix it with a peg of rum, and drink it.
If it is chilly bagâ¦well, I may use it against an enemy, if any such situation comesâ¦who knows. But I will most probably discard the cover.
