Apple’s pie is out now and it’s time to check for all the things, which Apple claimed to offer with the iPhone. I am not interested in anything else than the battery life. A few days back, Apple claimed iPhone would rock up to 8 hours of talk time, 6 hours of Internet use, 7 hours of video playback or 24 hours of audio playback. Moreover, the iPhone was said to tout up to 250 hours – more than 10 days of standby time.
Sadly, the claims have been proven wrong. I had earlier shown my doubts with the battery life. Post-release, may I say, I’ve been vindicated. The iPhone could give only 4 hours and 3 minutes of voice, and 3 hours and 11 minutes using the browser and EDGE.
What could have been the upshot if they had included 3G also? What could be the reason? Might be the iPhone’s large screen! But, that doesn’t seem to be a good excuse when we are talking about Apple.
