The website campaign, launched by The California Department of Public Health in partnership with the California Immunization Coalition, aims to make awareness among the people about the importance of immunization.
The campaign presents real people and real incidents to make its point clear. This video, which is a part of the campaign, shows a mother who lost her son because of meningitis, a disease which could have been prevented by vaccine.
The campaign shows the importance of vaccines in preventing diseases such as Hepatitis A/B, Chickenpox, and Tetanus. Besides, the campaign provides rich information on vaccine safety and more diseases that are preventable through immunization. The campaign also carries other innovative methods through twitter and a photo contest.
